Half-Up, Half-Down Hair

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of celebrities wear their hair half-up, half-down and I’m not surprised, because it looks effortless and fabulous at the same time. The best thing about this hairdo is that you can rock it at any age and regardless of your hair type. Plus, it is very easy to do! When I wore this outfit, tt was very windy in New York so I felt this was the perfect hairdo, plus I wanted to show the faux-fur collar on my coat.

Ultimamente he visto a muchas famosas usar el cabello medio recogido y la verdad es que no me sorprende, ya que se ve fabuloso y es muy facil de hacer. Lo mejor de este peinado es que no importa la edad, ni el cabello que tengas, le queda bien a todas. Ese día hacia mucho viento en Nueva York por lo que pensé que seria el peinado perfecto, ademas quería que el abrigo sea el protagonista.

How to achieve the look:

After I style my hair as usual, I tease the crown to give it more volume. If you are not sure how to tease your hair it’s really easy. Start by taking a small section of your hair and comb downward toward the scalp, make sure you tease it in small strokes and add hair spray to each section. I love Elnett hair spray because is not too strong and my hair feels natural with just a little bit of hold.
If your hair is very tangled after all the teasing, don’t worry, use a brush to smooth it out.
After you are done teasing the crown of your hair pull half of it back into a ponytail.
Then continue to tease the rest of your hair and apply hairspray. I’m telling you, hair spray will be your best friend for getting this hairdo!

Como lograr este look:

Después que me arreglo el cabello como de costumbre, me bato el cabello en la coronilla, para darle mas volumen. Si no estas segura como batirlo, empieza por tomar una parte pequeña de cabello y empujala hacia abajo, por detrás, acercandote a la raíz. Continua haciendo esto hasta que veas que tu cabello tiene bastante volumen. Luego asegurate de agregarle laca como esta de Elnett.
Si tu cabello esta enredado después de batirlo, no te preocupes, usa un cepillo para desenredarlo.
Luego toma la parte que te batiste y la de los lados y haste una media cola.
Al final bate el resto de tu cabello y fijalo con laca. Te darás cuenta que la laca sera tu mejor amigo para lograr este look.
