As many of you know, I recently attended New York Fashion Week and I got to see, first-hand, what’s going to be hot next season! There were so many trends that I loved and I really wanted to try the black and white trend that I saw at the BCBG, Marc Jacobs, Alice & Olivia, Rachel Zoe and Diane Von Furstenberg shows. So, I said, “Why wait until next spring?”
That’s when I headed over to searsStyle site and as soon as I saw this black and white zigzag dress from the Kardashian Kollection I fell in love with it. I really like how feminine and flowy the dress is. I wanted to keep the look simple yet chic, so I added black heels, a black belt and a red clutch to add the perfect pop of color.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, hace poco asistí a la Semana de la Moda en Nueva York y pude ver todo lo que va a estar de moda para la proxima temporada! Hay tantas tendencias que me encantaron pero una de las que queria probar eran el blanco y negro que vi en los desfiles de Diane Von Furstenberg, Alice & Olivia, Marc Jacobs, BCBG y Rachel Zoe. Así que dije ¿Por que esperar hasta la Primavera?
Fue cuando entre a la pagina de searsStyley en cuanto vi este vestido de la coleccion de Kardashian Kollection me enamore de el. Me encanta el corte y lo femenino que es. Queria mantener el look simple pero a la vez chic, por lo que me puse tacones y correa negra y un sobre rojo para agregarle color al outfit.
I know it will start getting cold in New York really soon – not happy about it - but that won’t keep me from rocking this dress! Remember that you can always wear your summer dress during the fall; you just need to add a jacket, tights and boots to make the outfit more cozy. See, who says you need to spend a lot of money to look fabulous? This dress was less than 50 dollars! Did you look this look?

Dentro de poco ya va a empezar a hacer frío en Nueva York, pero estoy segura que igual me pondré este vestido, solo le agregare unas medias pantys, chaqueta, botas y listo. What can I say? My heart melts when I visit Telemundo in San Jose. That's where I started my career and where I spent some of the most amazing times of my life. Telemundo 48 is family to me and even though I have not worked there since 2006, I still love to visit :-)
I can't believe I went from interviewing athletes to being interviewed. I did an interview with Acceso Total and Jasmin Cabrera (reporter) almost made me cry (of happiness). I talked about how I started my blog, my business, my struggles, my move to NYC, my CoverGirl ad, my Cosmo for Latinas spread and more. So, if you live in the Bay Area don't forget to tune into Telemundo 48 today, Sunday 20th, at 6 pm!

¿Que les puedo decir? Mi corazón late de emoción cada vez que visito Telemundo 48. Y es que fueron ellos los que me dieron mi primera oportunidad, para trabajar en televisión. Y donde pase algunos de los mejores momentos de mi vida. En Telemundo conoci a mis mejores amigas y siempre los tendre en mi corazoncito, son como mi segunda familia. Los quiero! Yo deje de trabajar en Telemundo en el 2006 pero cada vez que puedo los voy a visitar.
Se me hace tan raro que pase de entrevistar a deportistas a ser la entrevistada, les digo que este mundo da muchas vueltas. Fue una entrevista muy bonita, donde Jasmine Cabrera (reportera) casi me hacen llorar! Hable de como empece mi blog, mi pasion por la moda, mi vida, mi mudanza a Nueva York y mi aviso con CoverGirl, mi participation en Cosmo for Latinas y mas. About a month and a half ago Sears invited me on a shopping spree and it was so much fun! I got a Sears gift certificate for $300 to buy anything I wanted. If you ask me, what else could a girl want right? ha,ha. I ended up getting mostly stuff from the Kardashian Kollection, which I was really impressed by. I can't wait to share my outfits really soon :-)
I also want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all the emails, messages and all the love that I have gotten since I told you about my Cosmo for Latinas spread! I am overwhelmed with emotions right now. But, what I can tell you is that I am grateful to have such amazing readers. I love you all :-)

Hace un mes y medio la tienda de departamento de Sears me invito a ir de compras con ellos. Es decir, me dieron un vale por la suma de $300 y yo podia usar ese vale para comprarme lo que quisiera en la tienda. ¿Se imaginan? Creo que ese es el sueño de toda mujer jaja. Al final termine comprandome casi todo de la Kardashian Kollection (la coleccion de las hermanas Kim, Kourtney y Khloe Kardashian), y es que esta colección me sorprendio mucho. Pronto les estare mostrando todo lo que me compre :-)
Tambien quiero aprovechar para agradecerles por todos los emails, mensajes y muestras de cariño que me han mostrado y me siguen mostrando a raiz que les conte que salia en la revista Cosmo for Latinas . Quiero que sepan que estoy infinitamente agradecida con cada una de ustedes. Las adoro.
