When I saw this picture on Pinterest (follow me if you like :-) )it immediately reminded me of my fuchsia pumps minus the ribbon. So, this just gave me an idea ... now I want to try to add the ribbon next time I wear them.

Since this is my first "Shoe of the Week" post I wanted to pay special tribute to the brilliant British designer Alexander McQueen. He was a genius and used his imagination to create the most beautiful, unexpected, extravagant, unique, captivating designs. These shoes from the Angels and Demons Fall 2010 collection - his final collection - leave me speechless and that is hard to do. He may be gone, but his designs will live forever. May you rest in peace Alexander McQueen.
