Lately all I've been doing is cutting my clothes ... not kidding either! I've cut overalls, jeans and now this tee! I have a feeling a few skirts will be next  ha,ha,ha. I was looking for a loose crop top and couldn't find one I like, so I found d the scissors and the rest is history :-) By the way I had been wanting a body chain for a while and I finally found one I like! I hope you like this outfit and I also hope you are having a great weekend!

Ultimamente he estado cortando todas mi ropa ... y no estoy bromeando ah? Ya he cortado unos overoles, jeans y ahora ultimo esta camiseta. Lo que pasa es que no encontraba un crop top suelto así que dije "Flor, manos a la obra" ja, ja, ja .. el resto es historia. Cambiando de tema, les cuento que hace mucho quería una cadena para el cuerpo, tipo las que usa Rihanna, pero no había encontrado una que me gustara, hasta que vi esta. Espero les guste este look y que estén teniendo una semana maravillosa.

I'm finally in New York but I'm sooooo tired right now! I took a red eye and got to the city at 7:30 am and have been nonstop all day. The highlight of my day was meeting Wilmer Valderrama at P&G’s Secrets of the Season event where he gave advice for surviving the holiday season in style. He's sooo hot and has swag for dayssss ... you have NO idea! Plus he's such a nice guy :-) After that I had dinner with two of my girls and now I'm prepping for my fashion TV segment tomorrow! So, if you live in the Tri-State area you can catch me tomorrow on Telemundo at 10 am!

Finalmente llegue a Nueva York pero estoy super cansada. Es que viaje toda la noche y llegue a Manhattan a las 7:30 am y no he parado todo el dia. Pero no me quejo, por que la estoy pasando lindo! En la tarde tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Wilmer Valderrama y es divino. Luego fui a cenar con unas amigas y ahora estoy preparando todo para mi segmento de moda de mañana por Telemundo 47. Asi que si vives en Nueva York, Nueva Jersey o Connecticut no te olvides de sintonizar Acceso Total a las 10 am :-)

I got back to California on Monday and can you believe I haven't even unpacked? That's how crazy busy my life has been! Visiting the Met Museum in New York!

If you follow me on Instagram you know that on Saturday I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art with my beautiful mom. It too me back to my school days with all the history and I was so excited to find a little piece of Peru at the museum. By the way if you are ever in New York you need to check out the rooftop at the Met, it has the best view of Manhattan!

Ya saben como AMO ir de compras y tengo que admitir que desde que me he mudado a Nueva York estoy cada vez peor. Yo digo que la culpa es de todos los eventos que tengo que asistir jaja :-)

I Challenge You To ... Te Reto A ...

A few weeks ago I joined a movement called "Bloggers do it Better" where Kristina from Pretty Shiny Sparkly challenges others bloggers to wear specific trends.  Well, the other day I was thinking,  why don't I do a challenge with one of my favorite bloggers and friend, Dany from Nany's Klozet and Fab Chic and Fit. I figured it would be fun to challenge each other to create different looks using the same pieces.

So, Dany and I have decided to do a challenge every Monday!! Soooooo exciting right? The best part is that, in this weekly special, we challenge our readers and bloggers around the globe to wear specific trends- and we would love if you could join us. Hace unas semanas me hice miembro de una comunidad de blogueras "Bloggers do it Better", donde teníamos que completar retos de moda cada semanas.  La verdad es que los retos me gustaron bastante por lo que me quede con las ganas de hacerlo mas seguido. Por eso el otro dia estaba pensando por que  no hago un reto con otra bloguera, es decir solo ella y yo. Automaticamente pense en Dany, de Nany's Klozet y Fab Chic and Fit....me imagino que muchas de uds. ya la conocen!  Asi que me puse en contacto con ella y le encanto la idea.

Uds. se preguntaran como funciona esto.  Les cuento que es muy sencillo, Dany y yo escogeremos un tema y de alli cada una lo interpreta a su manera. En esta sección semanal, retamos a todas las bloggers y lectoras a usar ciertas tendencias- y nos encantaría que nos acompañaran. I can't believe the weekend is finally here, it went by so fast!  The weather has been beautiful in the Bay Area, perfect to be outdoors.  I decided to put together an outfit, that you could wear to a picnic, wine tasting - Napa Valley sounds great right now - or to lunch with your girlfriends or significant other.  I love wearing maxi skirts, I have been wearing them for years. There is something dramatic about them, the way they move as you walk screams sexy! They have been all over the runways lately and you will continue to see them through Fall.  What do you think about maxi skirts, do you like them?

Me parece mentira que ya es viernes, el tiempo se esta pasando volando.  El clima ha estado precioso en el area de la bahia ultimamente. Por eso decidi crear este "outfit" con el que puedes ir a un picnic, ir a almorzar con tu amigas o pareja o simplemente de paseo. Las faldas largas han estado por todas las  pasarelas esta temporada y se espera que sigan de moda en el Otoño.  A  mi en lo particular me encantan, la forma que se mueven cuando caminas es tan femenina y sexy.  Tu que piensas de estas faldas, te gustan?
